A cement truck ended up off the road and on its side, after the driver tried speeding around a bit of traffic and quickly discovered that his attempted evasive maneuver wasn't as slick as he had intended it to be. That's a crash-and-burn moment if we've ever seen one.

The trucker's mistake ended up causing a little bit of collateral damage, as the cement truck landed hard on the roof of a minivan, before veering into some forgiving brush. Fortunately, save for some pretty nasty damage to the hatch, the van appeared to make it out in one piece. That probably wasn't a cheap repair bill, though. Let's hope the truck driver's company had good insurance.

The 2017 incident went down in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and shows what happens when you let your impatience get the better of you. Yeah, I'm guessing the truck driver either lost his job after this, or, at the very least, had to serve a long suspension. This definitely isn't a slap-on-the-wrist type of screwup.

This video shows what we've seen from reckless drivers time and time again. It all comes down to overconfidence and underpreparedness. These folks all think they're invincible stunt drivers, until karma catches up and they end up in a terrible wreck.

Hopefully the driver ended up being okay, but this all could have been easily avoided if he had just followed the flow of traffic and not tried getting some fancy with it. You would've thought he was driving a Ferrari and not a hulking cement truck with the way he was moving. The dude should've checked himself, but instead, he wrecked himself.
