Jet Truck Turns Up the Heat for This Awesome Turkey Roasting Experiment

I've heard about a lot of different methods for cooking a turkey on Thanksgiving, but this one easily wins the award for the most entertaining one. Back in 2015, the Flash Fire jet truck team and their families met up and filmed this awesome video. As soon as you hear the jet engine begin to spool up, you know this thing means business.

The turkey hangs from a pole connected to the back of the truck so that it stays in the perfect place. You can hear the engine power up, as it shoots a cloud of smoke and a giant fireball out of the back, completely engulfing the entire turkey and giving it a solid roast. I'm not sure just how hot that flame was, but it sure did the job of cooking this thing in under 30 seconds. On top of that, it proved to be a pretty cool spectacle for all the kids around.

To finish this thing off, the guy behind the wheel applies more throttle to the jet engine and blows this turkey clean off the pole it was tied to, sending it flying down the driveway at incredible speeds. Can you imagine owning the house on the other side of this guy? A full-sized flaming turkey just comes flying into your yard out of nowhere, after what sounded like an airplane idling at your doorstep. Yeah, the neighbors might complain, but when you brainstorm the most epic way to cook the turkey, sometimes you just have to go for it.

I give this team credit for the creativity, and for putting this video together so we could all witness this madness. It definitely looked like a fun time for everyone that was involved. Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so why not have a little fun with it this year.
