Once summer comes around, the boating enthusiasts come out to play. Folks finally put some time aside for fun in the sun and the water. While it's fun to be out on the water, it can be a pain to haul your toys out to the lake. Whether you're using your own boat or kayak, or even if you're getting a boat rental, you're likely going to need a truck or trailer to assist. But, now there is a better option: Bring on the GoBoat.

The GoBoat is a portable watercraft that you can also attach a simple trolling motor to. How cool is that? Due to its inflatable ring, it's perfect for playing bumper boats with your friends, but it can be used in a variety of other ways as well. You could use it as a personal fishing boat, a regular tube, or just cruise around and do some sight-seeing from the water. On top of that, it's easy to transport anywhere, and you no longer have to use boat landings to drop in.

This thing weighs less than most carry-on luggage bags. Not only is it lightweight, but it's also very quiet when you're operating it. It's extremely practical to bring with you, especially if you've got kids to entertain. There's no doubt that if you put your children on this, they won't want to get out of it. The best part is that it requires no tools for assembly. It can also glide across shallow marshes, and it will even stay stable if you find yourself in choppy waters.

Dave Yonce is the brilliant creator behind this product. Yonce is a pilot, and while he was flying over Tulsa, he spotted the incredible bodies of water and decided to sit down with his kids to brainstorm a new project for summer fun. They landed on bumper boats and began working on the design. They even started a Kickstarter page for the product.

As it turns out, Yonce is no stranger to building successful companies. He was actually featured on the show Shark Tank, when he pitched his portable air conditioner called IcyBreeze.

The GoBoat is an awesome new take on the classic donut inflatable. If you're looking to purchase one of these floats, it'll run you around $300. Keep in mind, the product will need to be paired with a trolling motor that is not included. Either way, this is definitely one of the coolest toys you can buy for practicality and simplified fun.
