The description for this above video from Werner Farms may not be the most exciting teaser: "In today's video, we have fungicide applied to our corn by Kankakee Valley Aviation to help prevent and suppress disease and to maintain overall plant health."

Upon reading that, you probably aren't thinking that you're about to watch the most exciting video in the world. BUT, thanks to expertly shot drone footage coupled with views from inside the crop duster itself -- which is traveling at 135 MPH, by the way -- this clip is actually pretty damn awesome. Getting a bird's eye view of all that land really is something else, isn't it?

If you want to skip right to the aerial footage, you can go to around the 4:38 mark and watch this crop duster work its magic. According to one of the video's comments, the plane being used here is a Weatherly 620B with a Pratt & Whitney R-985 radial engine that churns out around 450 horsepower. What an awesome machine!

Now, if you liked what you saw from the above Werner Farms video, here's a little more info on the Hanna, Indiana-based family operation, which was established in 1960.

Per Werner Farms:

Werner Farms currently operates on 1,700 acres of corn, soybeans, wheat and rye along with 1,000 acres of custom harvest work. The farm has no-tilled since the early 1980s and continues to increase acres of cover crops year to year. Besides the farm operation, Werner Farms has sold Pioneer Seed since the 1980s. Numerous John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm ranging from a 730 to an 8530.

It's always great to see a family-run farm still do well, especially in times like these. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the place puts out sweet behind-the-scenes footage, so to speak, showing how some of the work gets done. You gotta love it!
