Waiting in traffic of any kind sucks. But, waiting in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the freeway? That sucks BIG TIME. Of course, there's a reason why most of us just don't pull off onto the shoulder and drive around the gridlocked traffic when it seems like the easiest thing in the world to do.
Because, on the off chance that there's a police cruiser in the area, that would make for quite the inconvenient run-in with law enforcement. Now, some drivers are more impatient than others and will risk getting pulled over by the cops for even just a few minutes of clear highway. As you can see in the above video, that risk didn't end up paying off for some motorists making their way through I-95 in Doswell, Virginia back in March 2019.
Sick of waiting behind the stoppage caused by a car accident, eight drivers decided to throw caution to the wind and use the shoulder for a quick get-around. As it turns out, the cops who had responded to the accident were still on the scene, which made it pretty easy for every single one of the offenders to get scooped up in one fell swoop. When it was all said and done, there was quite the vehicle lineup.
Per Daily Mail:
Included in this is the grey Focus, and other vehicles that were pulled over by cops near the entrance to Kings Dominion amusement park at 4pm.
Virginia State police can be seen walking between the cars, which includes three hatchbacks, three SUVs, a truck and a van.
The car in the accident appears to be in nestled in a thicket of trees on the left side of the road, with its nose in the hedge and its door swung ajar.
How's that for instant karma?
