Let This Jeep Owner Be an Example of How NOT to Haul a Washing Machine

It's not often that you need to haul a washing machine from one place to another. But, you know, sometimes duty calls, and you need to help out a buddy who needs a washing machine, or, I don't know, attend a Bring Your Own Washing Machine party.

Now, let's say that you yourself happen to be in a situation where you need to take that ol' washing machine on a little ride-along. And let's also say that you happen to own a Jeep that's completely capable of pulling off such a task. How would you go about transporting the washer in question?

Would you:

A) Clear up some trunk space and figure out a way to finagle the washing machine into the back

B) Strap the washing machine to the top of the Jeep, using the completely intact roof rack

C) Tie the washing machine to the hood of your Jeep, completely obstructing your line of sight and creating an immense safety hazard for both yourself and other drivers on the road

If you chose C), then you are probably this Jeep Liberty owner from Abilene, Texas. Also, you are not very smart.

The bozo in question ended up receiving a warning from Abilene police for his mind-bogglingly attempt to haul heavy equipment.

Fortunately, we have photo proof of this master class in idiocy, thanks to the Abilene Police Officer Association, who posted a picture on Facebook of the seriously questionable haul job along with this simple caption: "Abilene TX today.... job security for us..." Yep, that pretty much sums it up.

I am curious to know what the Third Act of this story ended up being though. Did the Jeep owner see the error in his ways and strap the washing machine to the roof like a normal person? Did he double down on his stupidity and keep driving with the machine on the hood? Did he just run away, into the sunset, never to be seen or heard from again?

Whatever happened, here's hoping that he stays away from large machinery and Jeeps for the rest of his life.
