Don't Try This at Home, Kids: Video Shows Driver Hanging Out of Ford F-250 at 50 MPH

Some folks just seem to have no fear. I'm not really positive who or what gave this guy the idea to hang outside of his Ford F-250 while driving, but I have some ideas. Judging by the custom stunt motorcycle in the back of the bed, I can only assume he's a stunt rider that got a little bored while driving to his destination. Since he's probably used to doing all kinds of crazy stuff on two wheels (or one wheel), he probably figured he'd just do the same on four wheels.

I'm not going to lie, I figured this guy was going to bite the dust at some point during this video. I was wrong, but let's not forget about how dangerous this stunt actually is. With a truck that weighs over 5,000 pounds, if he screwed up, that truck likely could have gone on to cause a tremendous amount of damage. Check out the below video and see the madness for yourself!

This guy does not miss a beat and seems completely comfortable jumping out of his driver's window and dangling above the street at over 50 MPH! If the average person tried this, they would likely be sliding across the pavement in a matter of seconds. Not this guy, though. He holds onto the steering wheel with one hand, while he air-walks above the street. For an old truck like that, he sure does have a lot of confidence in that steering wheel. He walks along the running board and messes with the windshield wipers as well.

I have to say, though, the funniest part about this video is when he this dude acts like he's riding a skateboard, as he kicks forward while standing on the side of the truck. Luckily, he doesn't crash and burn, and he casually hops back into the truck's cab to continue his journey.

Although a bit entertaining, there's no denying how dangerous this is to do on a public road. One wrong move, and this guy could have been seriously injured or even killed. Even worse, he could have hurt someone else. Thankfully, it does appear that he's on a somewhat isolated road out in the desert.

It should go without saying, but please do not try this at home. It's always fun and games until something goes wrong. Stunt riders are just crazy in general, but maybe next time, just keep the activities in a private stunt lot.
