Here's your feel-good story of the day.

For all that can be said about NASCAR drivers' relationship with their fans, Ryan Blaney took it up a notch and now probably has a fan for life.

Ahead of running in Sunday's Cup Series playoff race in Dover, Blaney drove the #22 Ford to victory in Saturday night's XFINITY playoff race.

Then Blaney promptly took the checkered flag and slipped it under the fence to a young fan.

"He seemed really pumped up to be at the race," Blaney said and reports USA Today. "There was a lot of kids here today, which is really cool. I kind of saw a little bit of myself. I was a little kid coming here and watching races. Anything we can to do to try to keep them coming back and show them a pretty great experience at the track. He looked like he wanted it and he was pretty happy when he got it."

The 23-year-old Blaney is the son and grandson of race car drivers Dave Blaney and Lou Blaney. The act lit up social media shortly after the race.
