Trackhouse Racing is taking on a massive motorsports festival with one of its NASCAR Cup Series cars.
According to a Saturday announcement, team owner Justin Marks will head to West Sussex, England, for the Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 10-13. He will take part in the long-running festival while showcasing the No. 87 Red Bull Chevrolet Camaro.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed features numerous attractions for motorsports enthusiasts. The biggest draw is the 1.16-mile hill climb featuring race cars and demonstrators from around the world. They race between hay bales while trying to shatter records from years past.
Marks will take part in this hill climb as he puts the No. 87 Chevrolet on display. He will join the select group of people who have put NASCAR on the global stage.
Recent examples include Hendrick Motorsports with the Garage 56 Chevrolet and Richard Petty with his No. 43 Superbird. Kyle Petty drove the historic Cup car up the hill climb course while the seven-time champion took part in a balcony celebration with the Duke of Richmond.
"This is quite the honor for both Trackhouse Racing and NASCAR," Marks said in a statement. "NASCAR held its first points race in recent history in Mexico last month, and it was a huge success.
"Expanding our fan base globally is a goal for everyone in our sport, and there's no better place to showcase our sport than the Goodwood Festival of Speed. I want to thank our friends at Red Bull and Chevrolet for making this happen."
According to Trackhouse, Marks will drive the No. 87 on Thursday and Friday before heading to Sonoma for the race weekend. Others will control the Cup entry to close out the festival weekend.
NASCAR will not be the only racing series taking on Goodwood in 2025. The event will also feature a celebration of 75 years of Formula 1. Champions of the series will take on the hill climb with a variety of vehicles.
The guest list for this F1 celebration includes such names as three-time World Champion Jackie Stewart, four-time World Champion Alain Prost, 1997 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve, and motorsports icon Mario Andretti. Many other active drivers will also join in the fun.
Fans interested in watching the Goodwood Festival of Speed can tune in via the YouTube livestream. They will be able to watch Marks taking part in the hill climb along with dozens of other vehicles from around the world.
