A major change will take place after the 2025 season. Daniel Suarez and Trackhouse Racing will mutually part ways while ending a partnership that began in 2021.
Trackhouse Racing announced the news on Tuesday. The team said that it and Suarez had reached a mutual decision to end their partnership after the season finale at Phoenix Raceway. The team added that the move allows Suarez to pursue new opportunities.
"The role Daniel has played in the Trackhouse origin story and its first five years will remain a valued part of the company's history forever," said team owner Justin Marks. "His commitment, work ethic and dedication to the effort is one of the most impressive things I personally have seen in my career."
"We will forever be thankful and honored that Daniel chose to spend many incredible years with us. We are proud of his wins, his successes, the growth of his brand, and his emergence as a valuable athlete in America's greatest motorsport.
"But, most of all, I'm proud of him as a friend. I'm truly excited to see what awaits him in the next chapter of his amazing career. We are grateful for the professionalism, effort and heart he's brought to our organization."

Suarez, 33, joined Trackhouse Racing in ahead of the 2021 season. He became the team's first full-time driver as he took over the No. 99 Chevrolet.
He has since made 162 starts for the team while posting 39 top-10 finishes, 15 top-fives, and two wins. Suarez's best finish in the Cup Series standings is 10 in 2022.
Questions have circulated about Suarez's future with Trackhouse Racing over the past two seasons. He faced numerous questions about his contract status in 2024 before inking a one-year extension for the 2025 season.
Suarez has continued to face questions about his future with Trackhouse Racing this season, especially with the team signing Connor Zilisch as a development driver. The NASCAR veteran has acknowledged that the contract negotiations have been a distraction, but he noted that he was putting them to the side so he could focus on racing.
Now, however, Suarez will focus on finishing up the 2025 season in the No. 99 Chevrolet and contending for a championship. After that, he will move on to new opportunities.
"I want to thank all the men and women at Trackhouse Racing for your love and support." Suarez said in a press release. "I've had some of the best years of my Cup Series career at Trackhouse. We had great successes as a team and I gained some incredible friends.
"We took a team nobody had even heard of in 2021 and in just a couple of years we were winning races and running up front on a weekly basis.
"Just like the seasons in a year, sometimes things change and we have mutually agreed to each go in our own direction. I wish Trackhouse nothing but the best, this No. 99 team will always be special to me. And like I always say, the best is ahead!"
