Trackhouse Racing is bringing some extra entertainment to select NASCAR race weekends with a new concert series.
According to a press release, Trackhouse Live is the new creation of Trackhouse Racing and longtime partner Quaker State. This series will head to three upcoming race destinations while bringing live music to race fans and Trackhouse Racing guests.
Access to these concerts will be very limited, according to the team. Trackhouse Racing will provide access details and opportunities on its social media channels in the days leading up to each event on the concert series.
The next event on the Trackhouse Live schedule will be at The Broadberry in Richmond, Virginia. A musical artist or group -- Trackhouse will reveal this information at a later date -- will kick off the weekend with a show on Friday, Aug. 15.
The concert series will continue during the race weekend at Kansas Speedway (Sept. 26-28) and Charlotte Motor Speedway (Oct. 3-5). Trackhouse Racing will reveal the artists for each date as they approach.
This live concert series actually began in Nashville, Tennessee, the home of Trackhouse Entertainment Group. Country trio The Castellows put on a live show at Tootsie's on May 31.
"Trackhouse Live embodies the creativity and passion we have for delivering best-in-class experiences to our partners and fans," said team owner Justin Marks.
"Racing and music both touch our souls and hearts in the same way, and Trackhouse Live brings the two together in an exciting and memorable way."
Marks and Trackhouse Racing have approached fan entertainment differently than other teams since entering the Cup Series in 2021. The live concert series just continues that trend.
This team was the first to install bright LED screens in the garage area and the pits. Trackhouse Racing also brought in live entertainment for its VIP areas at the track.
"We want to be the people that come in and try to do different things," Marks told NASCAR.com last February. "This is a sport that needs big brands and teams that are motivated to be ambassadors of an entertainment property and to give the fans something to get excited about.
"If we're leaders in that, then great. We're kind of doing our thing, but this is an amazing sport, and more people need to see it. So we feel like we're ambassadors of that."
