Kyle Larson has one of the busiest schedules in the entire racing industry, and this will only continue throughout May as he splits time between multiple series.
The 2021 Cup Series champion will add Indianapolis 500 practice and qualifying sessions to an already busy schedule, and he will attempt to complete them all while traveling back and forth between different parts of the country.
This began on Tuesday, May 13, as Larson joined Arrow McLaren for a rain-delayed practice session at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He drove the No. 17 entry, which he will continue to do throughout the rest of May while preparing for his second Indy 500 start.
One important thing to note is that Larson said the All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway will be his priority. If he makes the Fast 6 qualifying session, he will still leave Indianapolis Motor Speedway so that he can make it to North Carolina and battle for the $1 million.
