Friday Xfinity, Truck schedule at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The Las Vegas Motor Speedway weekend kicks off Friday as two of the national NASCAR series get time on the track.

Craftsman Truck Series teams will practice, qualify, and then race as part of a one-day show. Xfinity Series teams will practice and qualify for Saturday's race. This weekend marks the first time this season that teams will compete on a 1.5-mile oval.

Rajah Caruth is the defending winner of the Las Vegas Truck Series race. He will be back in the lineup on Friday to push for another trip to victory lane.

Other Truck Series drivers with wins at Las Vegas include Chandler Smith (2022), Grant Enfinger (2018), and Ben Rhodes (2017).

Four-time Las Vegas winner Kyle Busch will not be in the lineup. His Truck Series schedule features other tracks. Instead, Justin Haley and dirt ace Corey Day will be Spire Motorsports' guest drivers.

Only one driver on the Xfinity entry list has won at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Austin Hill parked it in victory lane at the intermediate track in the 2023 spring race. He will try to secure another Xfinity win while facing off with a lineup featuring 37 other drivers.

The Xfinity entry list has multiple drivers making guest appearances. Phoenix winner Aric Almirola will be back in the No. 19 while pursuing his second consecutive win. Mason Massey will be back with Alpha Prime Racing while Austin Green will suit up again for Jordan Anderson Racing.
