The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Las Vegas Motor Speedway this weekend. Several drivers will be in contention for the win, but BetMGM has Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson listed as the favorites at the intermediate track.
According to BetMGM, Bell and Larson both enter the weekend at +400. William Byron and Tyler Reddick are just behind them at +600. Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano are next at +1,000.
Bell has yet to win a Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but he has started from the pole twice in the last three races and finished second both times while leading a combined 216 laps.
It should come as no surprise to NASCAR fans that Larson is one of the favorites to win this race. He has posted three wins at the intermediate track since 2021, including two of the last three.
Larson has led more than 100 laps in three separate races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and he has led 629 laps at the track in his Cup Series career. This is second only to Kevin Harvick (679) for the most all-time.
Logano is the other multi-time winner near the top of BetMGM's odds. He leads all active drivers with four Cup wins at Las Vegas Motor Speedway (2019, 2020, 2022, 2024). Two of these wins were in the spring race. Two were in the playoff race.
Bell and Larson are the favorites to win this weekend, per BetMGM, but Larson will not be the only driver in the Hendrick Motorsports stable who will be worth watching. The reason is that Larson and two of his teammates have combined to win the last four spring races at the intermediate track.
Larson won the spring races in 2021 and 2024. Alex Bowman (+2,500) won the spring race in 2022. Byron won the spring race in 2023. Chase Elliott (+1,400) hasn't visited victory lane at Las Vegas, but he has three top-five finishes and five top-10s in 15 career starts.
These drivers will battle for the all-important win Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. ET. FS1 will provide coverage with Mike Joy, Clint Bowyer, and Kevin Harvick in the booth.
