Joe Gibbs Racing teams up with West Coast staple ampm

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver lineup is bringing some West Coast flair to multiple NASCAR Cup Series races. The organization has teamed up with ampm.

According to a press release, the California-founded convenience store chain will take over Denny Hamlin's No. 11 Toyota Camry XSE during two Cup Series races this season. It will also join Ty Gibbs for one race next season.

The first race featuring the purple and black scheme will be on July 13 at Sonoma Raceway. The ampm scheme will return during the playoffs for the Oct. 12 race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Joe Gibbs Racing will announce Gibbs's race at a later date.

"We're looking forward to introducing ampm to the motorsports world," Hamlin said in a press release. "It's exciting to have a first-time partner come on and be able to showcase their business to our fanbase.

"It's a great looking paint scheme, and I can't wait to get it on the track at Sonoma and Las Vegas later this year."

Hamlin and Joe Gibbs Racing have put in effort to build out the sponsorship lineup since last season. FedEx's departure left a massive hole in the team, considering that the shipping company has been Hamlin's anchor partner for his entire career.

The early portions of the season have featured some new and familiar schemes on the No. 11 Toyota Camry XSE. Hamlin had National Debt Relief join the lineup for the Daytona 500 and the trip to Circuit of the Americas.

Yahoo then returned for Atlanta Motor Speedway, while Sport Clips Haircuts returned for last weekend's race at Phoenix Raceway.

Hamlin and Joe Gibbs Racing also announced ahead of the season that King's Hawaiian had joined the fold on a multi-year deal. The former RFK Racing sponsor will make its debut on Hamlin's No. 11 Toyota during the June 28 night race at Atlanta.

King's Hawaiian will then return for the regular-season finale at Daytona on Aug. 23, the playoff race at Bristol on Sept. 13, and the playoff race at Martinsville on Oct. 26.

These sponsors have partially filled out Hamlin's 2025 schedule. Now that ampm has joined the fold, the picture only continues to grow clearer.
