Prince's Motorcycle and Car Collection Is As Unique As the Late Pop Icon

|

After pop legend Prince died in 2016, it was discovered that no one knew of any existing will, causing confusion over what to do with his estate. There should be no confusion over this fact, though: Prince had unique taste in everything, from his wardrobe to his cars and motorcycles.

Thankfully, back in 2017, Jalopnik went through an inventory of the late pop music legend's Minnesota estate and found these incredible vehicles. Take a look!

Besides the customs -- the "Purple Rain" and the "Graffiti Bridge" motorcycles -- the car that screams "Prince" the loudest is not the old land yachts, but the Plymouth Prowler. I mean, just look at this beauty!

Not only is the car an odd combination of quirky and stylish, like the man himself, but it came in the most satisfying use of purple on a modern car.

Hearkening back to the classic "Plum Crazy Purple," most advertisements for the Prowler showed it in a nice deep purple. Whatever percentage of Prowlers ended up in this color, it is easily the most famous. And, a purple Prowler is the perfect car for a Prince -- try saying that sentence five times fast!

All in all, though, Prince had one eclectic collection. Prince definitely wasn't your average car enthusiast, that's for sure. Considering Prince's deep pockets, you'd probably expect him to have more luxury or sports cars. Some top-of-the line Lamborghinis or restored Corvettes. Let's just say that it's not often that you see BMW and Mercedes rides in the same collection as an off-the-wall vintage car like the '64 Buick Wildcat or a '95 Prevost Bus. You love to see it!
