Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee

Our 6 Favorite 'Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee' Episodes in Honor of the New Season

About six years ago, Jerry Seinfeld cruised around with Larry David in a 1952 Volkswagen Beetle in the first episode of the wonderfully entertaining series "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee."

Since that inaugural ride, Seinfeld has gone on 59 vintage car rides, each time bringing along a different iconic comedian or pop culture figure. July 6 marks the premiere of the 10th season on Netflix, during which Jerry will drive around with the likes of Dave Chapelle, Jerry Lewis, Ellen DeGeneres, Alec Baldwin, and several others.

Despite being embroiled in a lawsuit with a disgruntled plaintiff over the concept of the show (and you can imagine how those things usually turn out), Jerry's show is still worth celebrating for its innovative take on the talk show structure.

The trailer for this year's season dropped on Wednesday, and judging from a few of the clips, it looks to be a season chock-full of sweet vintage rides and hilarious guests.

In honor of the upcoming season, we decided to look at our six favorite "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee" episodes. Did we miss any of your favorites? Let us know!

6. "Just Tell Him You're the President" with Barack Obama

No matter where your political allegiances lie, you have to admit that Barack Obama is actually pretty funny for a politician. That being said, the 1963 Corvette Sting Ray he and Jerry drive around Washington D.C. in is no joke.

The whole exclusive tour of the White House isn't too bad either.

5. "If You See This on a Toilet Seat, Don't Sit Down" with Steve Martin

Steve Martin is one of the most legendary stand-up comedians to take the stage, and watching him talk shop with Jerry is an all-time moment. The fact that we get to watch them drive around in a 1054 Siata 8V and a 1966 Ford Mustang through the streets of Pleasantville, New York is just a special bonus.

The part where Siata breaks down and forces the pair to drive the rest of the way in a Jeep? Maybe not so special. For them, anyway.

4. "It's Great That Garry Shandling Is Still Alive" with Garry Shandling

This one is pretty bittersweet, especially considering Garry Shandling tragically died only two months after the episode aired.

That being said, the deep conversations between Garry and Jerry in that 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo represented Garry at his most insightful.

3. "Kids Need Bullying" with Chris Rock

Just two pals and comedy legends riding around in a 1969 Lamborghini Miura P400S. This is definitely a vintage moment, in more ways than one.

2. "Larry Eats A Pancake" with Larry David

You know we had to include the episode that started it all.

1. "Mr. Ferrell, For the Last Time, We're Going to Ask You to Put the Cigar Out" with Will Ferrell

In this episode, the former sitcom star links up with the former sketch comedy star for a cruise around Marina del Rey in a 1970 Plymouth Superbird.

You cant really get too much funnier than these two comedic giants.
