The above video is a solid mix of Gone in 60 Seconds combined with The Fast and the Furious: Juniors Edition. A car theft that leads to a street race of epic proportions. You just can't make something like this up.

After stealing $500 and his father's Fox Body Turbo Mustang, a 16-year-old boy took his girlfriend with him to a local street race looking to "get his feet wet." His daddy's Mustang is all stock, nothing more or less special than Ford intended.

Unbelievably, this teenage kid went head to head against a CTS V and walked away with $1,000! You gotta see this dude in action. Now, the creator of this video gives us a quick backstory ahead of the race, but just jump ahead to the 4:30 mark if all you want to see is the race. And, what a race it is. This ain't this kid's first time around the block, that's for sure!

Here's a little message for any kids out there reading this: It should pretty much go without saying that you should NOT try this at home. Sure, it worked out for the teen in the video, but he clearly has a ton of practice under his belt. Basically, he's not your average teen driver. Hell, his dad probably taught him everything he knows.

And, speaking of dad, even though the kid won, we're sure his pops wasn't the most thrilled about the whole stealing bit. I know most dads wouldn't be. Even still, it's kind of hard not to root for the kid here. He came, he saw, and he conquered. Sure, dad probably had to lay down some sort of punishment, but you know that deep down, he had to be just a little bit proud of his son.
