Record scratch. Freeze frame. Yup, that's a Toronto Transit Commission car. You're probably wondering how it ended up in this situation.
So, how did this car actually end up in such a...sucky situation? (Sorry, I couldn't resist). It turns out that the driver of the TTC car was taking an early-morning drive to investigate a water main break caused by a busted pipe and see if any transit services needed to be diverted. He probably wished he hadn't even bothered checking at all, because what he thought was just a puddle ended up being a sinkhole, and well, that sinkhole swallowed his entire car right the hell up.

"We've got a 300-millimeter water main that's ruptured, creating a void under the road," Bill Shea, the director of Toronto Water, explained to City News. "Unfortunately, there was a TTC vehicle that traveled over that, [and] got its front wheels stuck."
Thankfully, there were no reported injuries as a result of the large sinkhole. But the car? That thing was gone, gone, gone.
I don't know about you, but I feel like this guy deserves a raise, a promotion, and a few weeks paid vacation. I'm sure there's plenty of things that are just part of the job when you're working for a transit commission, but I can't imagine that getting your company car swallowed up by a sinkhole is one of them.
If you've never encountered a sinkhole in real life, I can assure you that those things are no joke. I don't care if it's in Canada, America, or even Mexico. To be honest, I've never seen one up close myself, but I have seen plenty of sinkhole videos on YouTube, so I feel like I know what I'm talking about.
