Buffalo Bills Road Rage

Buffalo Bills Fans Throw Down in Toll Barrier Road Rage

If you've been following this year's NFL season thus far, you know that the Buffalo Bills have not been off to the hottest of starts. Not only are they dealing with an 0-2 record, costly injuries, and players unceremoniously retiring in the middle of games, but Buffalo Bills fans have also been threatened with legal action for partaking in one of their most cherished pastimes: jumping through tables.

Needless to say, this recent string of events has effectively riled up the already boisterous Buffalo fanbase (it's called Bills Mafia for a reason). In a video posted by Barstool Sports, we see how the state of affairs in Buffalo has effected at least a handful of fans...in the form of a road rage incident outside a toll barrier.

Per The Buffalo News:

Capt. David Denz of the State Police Thruway division said troopers responded to the incident after receiving a call around 3:15 p.m. Sunday. The vehicles involved, a pickup truck and a sedan, both were heading eastbound on the 90 just before the Lackawanna tolls when they had some kind of road-rage dispute.

By the time a trooper arrived, the pickup truck had left the scene already, Denz said. The occupants of the sedan told state police that the disagreement was verbal, not physical, and they didn't want to press charges. "It was handled as such at the time," Denz said.

State Police first learned of the video early Monday afternoon. They plan to reopen the investigation and to track down the people in the vehicle that left the scene. Denz said he wasn't sure whether charges will be filed in the incident, which amounted to disorderly conduct, a violation.

He said he doesn't know if there was a clear aggressor in the fight, saying, "Sometimes it's a case of mutual combatants."

Obviously, it's not the brightest of ideas to have a full-on brawl in the middle of traffic, but at least one of the fighters had the good sense to toss away one of his opponent's crocs at the end there. Because the first and only reaction to seeing a croc should be to throw it as far away as possible and hope that it's never seen from again.

Other than that shining moment, what we see in the video above is a brief visual representation of what happens when you take away a city's hopes and dreams. And it clearly ain't pretty.
