At least one Earnhardt will still be around next season. With Dale Earnhardt Jr. retiring at the end of the season, his nephew will carry on the familiar family name in the Cup series. Circle Sport with TMG announced that Jeffrey Earnhardt will remain with the team and return to the number 33 car next season.

Jeffrey is in his first year with the team and his best finishes of the year were both 26th place at Daytona and Indy.
