By now you are probably aware of existing Jet pack technology. We have advanced to the point that a relatively light and compact jet pack is possible. The obvious limitations being flight time with limited fuel storage and the high amount of danger involved. It is telling that this jet pack pilot won't leave the safety of the water.
All of that being said, this stunning video makes those worries seem inconsequential. Falling to your death? Who cares, look how fast he can go! Strapping into a backpack full of fuel? Whatever, he's flying with birds! And if one of those birds flies too close underneath him? Free lunch. It's a win win.
