Crowdfunded Electric Motorbike Goes Where Motorcycles Can't

This crowdfunded project by Bolt Motorbikes hit $133,000 in its first day, which is more than half of the necessary funding. Folks are clearly getting excited about this new motorbike that's more than your average moped. They expect the sticker price on the final product to run around $6,500. This bike can hit 40 mph and go about 50 miles before it needs a recharge. The battery is removable, and can be charged in about 5 hours. Riding this bike requires no license, no registration, and no insurance as it technically falls within the legal range of an "electric bicycle."
