World's Fastest Production Car Reaches a Top Speed of 270.49 MPH

This video shows the Hennessey Venom GT set a new world record at the John F. Kennedy Space Center. In 2013, the Venom GT set a Guinness World Record for fastest production car from 0-300 kilometres per hour. On February 14, at the shuttle landing strip in Florida, this video shows it unofficially breaking a record. It's not official because only 16 cars have been sold to date and to qualify, Hennessey must build 30.
