The 2025 racing season is officially underway, and Toyota Gazoo Racing North America is celebrating by revealing its lineup of drivers for its development program.
According to a press release, the Toyota Gazoo Racing North America development program lineup features 14 drivers across three motorsports disciplines. Four compete in sports car series while three compete in grassroots dirt series. The rest compete in stock car series.
Toyota Development Program Roster
- Taylor Gray (Xfinity Series) -- A member of the Toyota lineup for multiple seasons, Gray continues his rise through the NASCAR ranks. He joins Joe Gibbs Racing after spending the last two seasons with Tricon Garage in the Craftsman Truck Series. Gray will compete for Rookie of the Year.
- William Sawalich (Xfinity Series) -- A two-time ARCA Menards Series East champion, Sawalich joins the Joe Gibbs Racing Xfinity lineup in 2025. He will compete for Rookie of the Year while also making select starts in the ARCA Menards Series and Craftsman Truck Series.
- Brent Crews (ARCA, Trucks, Trans Am) -- Crews, 16, has competed across multiple series while rising through the racing ranks. He will continue this trend in 2025 while making Truck starts for Tricon and ARCA starts for Joe Gibbs Racing. He will also compete for a TA Class championship in Trans Am competition with Nitro Motorsports.
- Corey Heim (Truck Series) -- Heim, a perennial championship contender, will return to the Truck Series in 2025. he will continue driving for Tricon Garage while pursuing more wins and another playoff appearance. Heim will also make starts in other series, which Toyota will reveal at a later date.
- Gio Ruggiero (Truck Series) --Ruggiero won an ARCA East race and several Super Late Model races last season. He will now take on the Truck Series while driving for Tricon Garage. Ruggiero will take on the full schedule while competing for Rookie of the Year.
- Isabella Robusto (ARCA) -- Robusto made her ARCA Menards Series debut last season with four starts for Venturini Motorsports. She posted three top-10 finishes and two top-fives. Now she will return to Venturini to take on the full 20-race ARCA schedule.
- Jade Avedisian (Late Models) -- Avedisian, the first female national dirt midget champion, will compete on asphalt during the 2025 season. She will take on Late Model competition while driving for Wilson Motorsports. She will also compete in several TA2 races to gain experience on road courses.
- Buddy Kofoid (Dirt) -- Kofoid will once again compete full-time in the World of Outlaws while driving for Roth Motorsports. The 23-year-old delivered a standout campaign last season as he won seven races and secured 27 podium finishes. Kofoid ended the season fourth in the championship standings.
- Cannon McIntosh (Dirt) -- McIntosh will return to dirt competition in 2025 after winning titles in POWRI and XTREME Midget and finishing second in the USAC standings. The Oklahoma native will reunite with Keith Kunz Motorsports while continuing to compete on dirt.
- Jacob Denney (Dirt) -- Denney, a three-time USAC winner, will join Keith Kunz Motorsports for the full 2025 season while racing alongside McIntosh. Denney made select starts for the team last season while winning at Port City Raceway.
- Tyler Gonzalez (Sports Cars) -- Gonzalez, 20, will join RAFA Racing Club in 2025 as he competes in SRO, the global leader in GT racing. He will drive a GR Supra GT4 in the GT4 class. Gonzalez has achieved success for Toyota by winning the inaugural Toyota GR Cup Series title in 2023.
- Gresham Wagner (Sports Cars) -- Wagner won the Toyota GR Cup Series title in 2024 after delivering 10 race wins. He will now move to RAFA Racing Club to be Gonzalez's co-driver in the GT4 class of SRO.
- Kiko Porto (Sports Cars) -- Porto, a veteran of multiple racing series, will also join RAFA Racing Club after landing with Toyota's development program. The Brazilian will compete in IMSA's Michelin Pilot Challenge, which features GT4 and TCR vehicles.
- Westin Workman (Sports Cars) -- Workman returns to the Toyota development program in 2025 to compete in the GR Cup for BSI Racing. Workman drove last season for Copeland Motorsports but has experience with BSI Racing after winning Rookie of the Year in the Mazda MX-5 Cup.
