Discount Tire founder and long-time NASCAR supporter Bruce Halle passed away in his sleep due to natural causes.

Halle was the owner of the world's largest largest tire and wheel retailer, which played a big part in him becoming involved with NASCAR. Discount Tire teamed up with Team Penske back in 2010, the same year Brad Keselwoski and Team Penske won the Xfinity Series championship.

The partnership has seen four different drivers win races for Discount Tire via Team Penske in Keselowski, Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, and AJ Allmendinger.
