Enfinger, who won stage 2, was in the lead during the final stage of Friday afternoon's race. Fellow playoff driver Christian Eckes was right behind him as they led the bottom lane.
This group remained organized as the laps clicked down, but the situation changed after Enfinger took the white flag. Other drivers began diving to the outside in an attempt to challenge for the win.
Alan took the middle lane while Gray took the high lane. Ryan Reed, Dye, and Tyler Ankrum were just behind, making aggressive pushes.
None of these drivers were able to overtake Enfinger. He just had too much speed. A wreck in the tri-oval then collected multiple trucks as the checkered flag waved.
Notable: Talladega was the track where Enfinger scored his first career win back in 2016. This was a milestone moment for the Alabama native considering that he only made eight starts that season before going full-time in 2017.
Fast-forward to 2024, and Enfinger delivered another milestone win. He captured the first national NASCAR series win for CR7 Motorsports, the team he joined when GMS Racing shut down.
Stage 1: Matt Mills won stage 1. Grant Enfinger, Jake Garcia, Connor Zilisch, William Sawalich, Dean Thompson, Ty Majeski, Lawless Alan, Taylor Gray, and Tanner Gray were all top 10.
Corey Heim in 13th, Christian Eckes in 15th, Rajah Caruth in 16th, and Nick Sanchez in 32nd were playoff drivers who missed out on stage points.
Stage 2: Sanchez spun after a push from Zilisch, which brought out the caution with two laps to go in the stage. Ben Rhodes, Chase Purdy, and Johnny Sauter were all collected as the field checked up.
The stage ended under caution. Enfinger won and locked up a playoff point. Garcia, Lawless Alan, Eckes, Thompson, Caruth, Heim, Tanner Gray, Bret Holmes, and Layne Riggs were all top 10.
Next: The Craftsman Truck Series teams are off until the end of October. They will return to action at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday, Oct. 26.
