The NASCAR season continues with series competing on opposite ends of the United States. For the Xfinity Series, this means a trip to Portland International Raceway.
The secondary series will return to the Oregon road course this weekend for the fourth and final time, at least for now. Portland will not be on the 2026 series schedule.
The ARCA Menards Series West teams will also make the trip to take part in a doubleheader. The NASCAR-owned series will compete on Friday evening while kicking off the weekend.
None of the drivers in the lineup have an Xfinity Series win at Portland. The past three winners -- AJ Allmendinger, Cole Custer, and Shane van Gisbergen -- will all compete in Saturday's Cup Series race at Darlington Raceway.

The Portland race continues a heated battle for both playoff spots and the regular-season championship. Justin Allgaier currently leads teammate Connor Zilisch in the Xfinity standings with two races remaining. The driver who ends the regular season atop the standings will secure 15 bonus playoff points.
In terms of the overall playoff picture, eight drivers have won their way into the playoffs. Four drivers are above the cutline on points. This includes Carson Kvapil (+120), Sheldon Creed (+84), Taylor Gray (+67), and Harrison Burton (+36).
Jeb Burton enters the weekend 36 points below the cutline. Ryan Sieg is 56 points below the cutline. Dean Thompson (-76) and Christian Eckes (-80) are the next two drivers within reach of a playoff spot.
