NASCAR Throwback Weekend at Darlington schedule

Two national NASCAR series are in action at Darlington Raceway for Throwback Weekend, the annual celebration of racing history.

NASCAR Xfinity Series teams will take on The Track Too Tough to Tame on Saturday while continuing the season. Cup Series teams will have on-track sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

Craftsman Truck Series teams are idle this weekend. They will return to action next weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

One note for this trip to South Carolina is that the Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash will be put on pause so the focus can be on the throwback schemes. The battle for the $100,000 bonus will resume next weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Last season's trip to Darlington Raceway featured two veterans scoring their first wins of the season. Justin Allgaier won the Xfinity Series race and punched his ticket back to the playoffs. Brad Keselowski won the Cup Series race. This was his first win with RFK Racing and his first win since the 2021 season.
