With ratings struggling and sponsors bailing, any positive news on the business side of NASCAR is a big deal. Team Penske shared their good news after signing an extension that will keep Snap-on's sponsorship alive for another five years.

"Snap-on has been a trusted partner for over 35 years with Team Penske and we are happy to report that this extension means we will celebrate 40 seasons together in 2021," said Roger Penske via MRN.com. "It is pretty special to have a relationship endure over time in such a competitive environment like professional sports, and especially in auto racing. We appreciate all of Snap-on's support over the years and our teams continue to rely on Snap-on tools and equipment because we know we are working with the best when it comes to reliability and quality."

The partnership covers Penske's Cup series, Xfinity series and Verizon Indycar series racing teams.

Included in the extension is that Snap-on will be Brad Keselowski's primary sponsor at Talladega Superspeedway next April.
