Not the way you want to start your weekend in Miami.

The NASCAR spotters for Denny Hamlin and Daniel Suarez had all of their equipment plus several personal items stolen from their car while eating in a restaurant near the track, NASCAR.com reports. Chris Lambert and Chris Osborn were eating at a Longhorn Steakhouse when their rental car was broken into.

"It's really unfortunate," Lambert told Catchfence.com. "We weren't inside more than an hour when we noticed the car had been broken into. We'll just try to make the best of the weekend from here."

Lambert's wife posted on Facebook that the pair had everything stolen except for one bag. All their spotting gear, electronics, medications, book bag, and clothes...gone.

The two filed a report with police. Let's hope their drivers have better luck in Florida.
