Dale Earnhardt Jr. had a tough farewell season on the track. Off the track, however, was a different story. Junior was greeted with gifts and celebrations at every turn, plus announcing that he and his wife have a baby girl on the way.
At the end of the season, he won his 15th consecutive most popular driver award and in case there was any more evidence of how loved Junior is, die cast models of his Axalta “Last Ride” No. 88 Chevrolet have become instant collectibles.
Not only does Earnhardt have the best selling die cast car, but Via NBC Sports, The Racing Collectibles Club of America put out a list of the top ten selling cars, and six of the ten belong to Dale.
Fans just can’t get enough Dale Earnhardt Jr. swag it seems. NASCAR is going to miss him, and his fans’ money.
