NASCAR returns to the Windy City to celebrate Fourth of July weekend. It is time for the third annual Chicago Street Race.
The Xfinity Series teams will take on the purpose-built course on Saturday while putting on a one-day show. Cup Series teams will take on the street course on two different days while headlining the busy weekend.
The teams will be at the purpose-built track on Friday, but they will not have any on-track sessions. They will take part in pre-race inspections.
The street race weekend will feature some guest drivers from Supercars. Reigning champion Will Brown will compete in the Cup Series race for Kaulig Racing. Veteran racer Jack Perkins will compete in the Xfinity Series race for Joe Gibbs Racing.
