Kyle Larson is adding another start to his 2025 NASCAR schedule. He will take on the Brickyard over two days while pulling double duty with Hendrick Motorsports.
According to a Monday announcement, Larson will take on Saturday's Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He will drive the No. 17 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro while making his fourth start of the Xfinity season, his third with Hendrick Motorsports. He also made one start in place of an injured Connor Zilisch.
Larson, the reigning Brickyard 400 winner, will then try to capture his second consecutive crown jewel at the 2.5-mile track during Sunday's Cup Series race.

Larson has achieved success in his first three Xfinity Series starts this season, albeit not as much as expected. He finished fourth at Homestead-Miami Speedway after contact from Sam Mayer on the final restart knocked him out of the lead. This prevented a weekend sweep at the Florida track.
Larson then won the Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway while winning two of his three starts that weekend. He also won at Texas Motor Speedway while driving for JR Motorsports.
The start at the Brickyard now provides Larson with an opportunity to score his third win of the Xfinity Series season and the 18th of his career. He has made four starts at the prestigious track, none since 2016, while finishing 11th or better every time. Larson's best Xfinity result at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was fourth in 2016 with Chip Ganassi Racing.
The California native will face off with a stacked list of contenders as he pursues this win with Hendrick Motorsports. This group includes Aric Almirola, who narrowly lost to Riley Herbst in last season's Xfinity race at the Brickyard.
The entry list also includes reigning champion Justin Allgaier, who won the Xfinity race at the 2.5-mile track in 2018 and finished second in 2019. It has other championship contenders in Zilisch, Austin Hill, Jesse Love, Sheldon Creed, Brandon Jones, and Mayer.
