Kyle Busch Motorsports made it a Christmas to remember for Canadian driver Raphaël Lessard by signing him to drive around 20 Super Late Model races next year, according to Motorsport.com. Lessard was a Toyota Racing Development driver last year and will retain that position even with his team change.

Moving to a big name team is a step forward for the 16 year old's career.

"This is fantastic news, it's definitely the best Christmas present I could have hoped for," he said. "I thank my parents, Jack Irving and Toyota TRD, sponsors and our investors group. Without them none of this would be possible. My parents are making so many sacrifices for me. In addition to saying thank you to them, I think I will have to go shopping with my sisters and find two gifts that will make them happy."
