Many drivers paid farewells to Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kenseth during the annual NASCAR awards in Las Vegas, and Kyle Busch paid tribute to both drivers during a speech.

He thanked Kenseth for being a great teammate and friend, and he also thanked him and Dale Jr. for everything they’ve done for the sport.

Towards the end of the speech, Busch also joked that he’s thankful Dale Jr. converted members of Junior Nation into Kyle Busch fans.

“Dale, thanks for the friendship we’ve grown over the years and of course, for converting all of Junior Nation into Rowdy fans,” Busch said. “It’s all going to be very different hearing all those cheers next year at driver intros.”
