Motorsports enthusiast Keanu Reeves is joining forces with Cadillac for an upcoming project. He will lead a documentary focused on Formula 1's newest team.
According to a press release, the veteran actor/filmmaker will use his KR+SH company to partner with North One for a documentary showcasing the behind-the-scenes efforts as Cadillac prepares to take on F1 in 2026. Reeves will host the documentary while also serving as executive producer.
He will work alongside Emmy-winning director/executive producer Simon Hammerson and three-time BAFTA-winning executive producer Neil Duncanson to bring the project to life. This documentary will air before Cadillac's F1 team makes its debut at Albert Park Circuit (Australia) in March 2026.
"I'm very honored and excited to be a part of telling the remarkable Cadillac Formula 1 Team story and its incredible journey into the world of Formula 1 racing," Reeves said in a press release.
"Our goal with the docuseries is to bring audiences into the heart of this journey and showcase what it takes to participate in one of the most exclusive sports arenas in the world."

The reports of an American team joining the F1 grid have persisted for a considerable amount of time, but they became a reality in March. Cadillac, who will have backing from TWG Motorsports and General Motors, received final approval to join the open wheel racing series.
This approval meant that Cadillac will join Haas, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Kick Sauber, Alpine, McLaren, Mercedes, Racing Bulls, Red Bull Racing, and Williams starting in 2026.
Cadillac hasn't named its drivers for its F1 debut just yet, but the team has put other pieces in place. It brought on Team Principal Graeme Lowdon and hired Russ O'Blenes as CEO of TWG GM Performance Power Units LLC.
"This is a story of bold ambition and relentless drive," said Dan Towriss, CEO of TWG Motorsports and the Cadillac Formula 1 Team. "We're honored to work with Keanu, whose passion and knowledge of racing runs deep, and proud to partner with GM on this incredible story.
"We have an opportunity to welcome a new generation of fans to Formula 1 and Keanu's creativity is the perfect spark to ignite that journey."
