Justin Haley will return to the NASCAR Xfinity Series lineup on Friday, Aug. 22, while taking part in a reunion with his former team.
The Indiana native, who competes full-time in the Cup Series for Spire Motorsports, will return to Kaulig Racing for a one-off Xfinity Series start at Daytona International Speedway. He will drive the No. 11 Chevrolet Camaro as the team fills out the car's schedule after parting ways with Josh Williams.

This trip to Daytona International Speedway will mark Haley's first Xfinity Series start since the 2023 season when he drove for Kaulig Racing in five events. Two of these starts took place at Daytona as Haley finished 10th both times.
Haley is no stranger to Kaulig Racing, hence the reunion. He spent three seasons driving full-time for Kaulig in the Xfinity Series. He scored four wins -- two at Talladega Superspeedway and two at Daytona International Speedway.
Haley is the only driver to win a race in the No. 11 Kaulig Racing Chevrolet.
The Indiana native then spent two seasons in the Cup Series with Kaulig. He drove the No. 31 Chevrolet while posting 10 top-10 finishes and four top-fives. His best finish was a runner-up in the inaugural Chicago Street Race after a late battle with newcomer Shane van Gisbergen.
Haley's reunion with Kaulig Racing will provide him with an opportunity to pursue another win in the No. 11 Chevrolet.
Haley is the third Spire Motorsports driver to join Kaulig Racing as the team evaluates its Xfinity Series program. Carson Hocevar controlled the No. 11 at Iowa Speedway last weekend and finished sixth.
Michael McDowell will control the No. 11 this weekend at Watkins Glen International. He will make his first Xfinity Series start since the 2016 when he won at Road America with Richard Childress Racing.
With Kaulig Racing announcing McDowell and Haley, the team has provided some answers about the No. 11's rotating lineup. However, more questions remain as the end of the regular season approaches.
The Xfinity regular season schedule will continue after Daytona with trips to Portland International Raceway and World Wide Technology Raceway. Supercars champion Will Brown is likely to take over the No. 11 in Portland, but the trip to WWT Raceway will be the biggest question mark.
No Cup Series regulars can compete in this event as it is the regular-season finale, so this eliminates any of the Spire Motorsports drivers. Additionally, Cup drivers can not compete in any of the seven playoff races.
