For the first time since the 2023 season, Jesse Iwuji will attempt to qualify for a NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
The US Naval Officer will take over the No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro for DGM Racing x Jesse Iwuji Motorsports (JIM) this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. He will showcase a red-white-and-blue patriotic scheme while working with primary partner Chevy Accessories.
The No. 91 will also carry the logo for the American Veterans Center's National Memorial Day Parade. This Memorial Day event, which honors military members who gave their lives in service of the country, traditionally draws more than 10,000 participants and more than 300,000 spectators.
Iwuji will be one of the participants on Monday, May 26. He will bring one of DGM x JIM's Xfinity Series cars for the time-honored event.
This weekend's trip to Talladega Superspeedway will mark Iwuji's first time suiting up for a NASCAR race since Jesse Iwuji Motorsports and DGM Racing joined forces.

"The DGM x JIM team has excellent drivers whom I enjoy cheering on and learning from," Iwuji said in a statement. "I must admit, however, I've been looking forward to getting back behind the wheel, and I have stayed ready for when an opportunity would present itself.
"It's amazing to get back at such a storied track like Talladega Superspeedway where anything can happen. I'm beyond thankful for our partnership between Chevrolet and DGM x JIM, and all the other folks who have been amazing throughout this journey."
Iwuji has made 17 starts in the Xfinity Series since making his debut in 2020. His best finish was 11th in the 2022 summer race at Daytona International Speedway.
The majority of starts were with Jesse Iwuji Motorsports, the team he co-founded with Pro Football Hall of Fame member Emmitt Smith. This team joined forces with DGM Racing ahead of the 2025 season, which led to the current opportunity at NASCAR's biggest track.
"We're really looking forward to Jesse's debut with DGM x JIM at Talladega Superspeedway," said DGM Racing owner Mario Gosselin. "Joining forces with Jesse Iwuji Motorsports and working with Jesse has been a seamless fit for our organization.
"Thanks to the support from great partners like Chevrolet Accessories and Lincoln Electric, we're proud to bring this special patriotic car design to the track and join Jesse in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington D.C. Jesse's service and commitment to our country is inspiring and it's humbling to join him in honoring and remembering our fallen troops."
