How to watch Xfinity race at Rockingham: Start time, TV info


The Xfinity Series returns to Rockingham Speedway this weekend for the first time since 2004. This race closes out an abbreviated NASCAR weekend featuring only the Craftsman Truck Series, Xfinity Series, and ARCA Menards Series East.

This weekend's race marks the 43rd time that the Xfinity Series has competed at the .94-mile paved track. This will be the first event on the newly repaved racing surface.

The race marks the final event of the Dash 4 Cash. Justin Allgaier, Carson Kvapil, Sammy Smith, and Brandon Jones are the four drivers racing for the final $100,000 prize.

Weather: The WeatherUnderground forecast calls for partly cloudy skies throughout the day. A high of 86 degrees and no chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity Series race.

Green flag time: The command to fire engines will be at 3:56 p.m. ET. The green flag will wave at 4:05 p.m. ET.

Starting lineup: Full Rockingham Speedway lineup

Pre-race: The Xfinity Series garage opens at 6:30 a.m. ET. Driver introductions will take place at 3:25 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage begins with "NASCAR Countdown Live" on CW at 3 p.m. ET. Race coverage continues on CW at 4 p.m. ET.

The invocation will take place at 3:48 p.m. ET. The national anthem will be performed at 3:49 p.m. ET.

Stages: The race will consist of three stages. The first stage ends at Lap 60. The second stage ends at Lap 120. The scheduled end of the race is Lap 250.

Playoff picture: Five drivers have locked up spots in the playoffs by winning races. Justin Allgaier and Austin Hill lead the series with two wins each. Jesse Love, Connor Zilisch, and Brandon Jones each have one win this season.

Harrison Burton is the driver right on the playoff cutline. He has 209 points. He is two points ahead of cousin Jeb Burton, who is just below the cutline.

Past winners: None of the drivers in the lineup have Xfinity Series wins at Rockingham Speedway. Kasey Kahne is the only driver in the lineup who has made an Xfinity start at the track. Jeb Burton and Ryan Sieg both have Truck Series experience at Rockingham.
