Denny Hamlin lands 18-race sponsor for 2025 NASCAR season

Denny Hamlin has landed an 18-race partner for the rest of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. He and Joe Gibbs Racing have joined forces with Progressive Insurance.

According to a Tuesday announcement, the company will take over the No. 11 Toyota Camry XSE for half of the season, starting this weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The partnership will then head to Martinsville Speedway, one of Hamlin's best tracks on the Cup Series schedule.

This deal with Progressive provides Hamlin with some consistency in the sponsorship department, something he and the team have sought since FedEx's departure this past offseason. The deal also allows Hamlin to run a specific shade of blue that he and his family members used in decades past.

"This is a huge deal for our No. 11 team and everyone at Joe Gibbs Racing," Hamlin said in a press release. "We're really looking forward to having Progressive on board and being able to deliver for them on and off the racetrack.

"For me, it's exciting to team up with a brand like Progressive that is so innovative with their marketing and the different ways you see them activate. I can't wait to get going with them starting this weekend."

This is not the first time that Progressive has taken over a Cup Series car. Back in 2020, the company joined Ryan Newman and Roush Fenway Racing for two events.

The No. 6 Ford had a Progressive scheme at Atlanta Motor Speedway in the spring as Newman finished 14th. The company returned at Pocono Raceway as Newman finished 15th.

Progressive will now return to support Hamlin as he seeks a milestone win. If he captures one more checkered flag in the No. 11, he will become the number's winningest driver in the Cup Series.
