GMS Racing officials have announced the signing of 19 year old driver Dalton Sargeant to race in the number 25 car in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in the upcoming season, via ESPN. Sargeant recently finished second in the ARCA Series championship points and was the rookie of the year in that series in 2016.

The number 25 was chosen to honor a driver that Sargeant holds in high regard, Tim Richmond.

Richmond raced in the Busch series in the 80's before battling AIDS and dying just two years after his final race at 34.
