Brenden "Butterbean" Queen has set the date for his return to the Craftsman Truck Series. This time, he will join a new team.
Butterbean, the ARCA Menards Series championship leader, will join forces with Spire Motorsports when the Truck Series teams return from a midseason break in the schedule. He will drive the No. 07 Chevrolet Silverado in the July 25 race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
According to the press release, Butterbean will have Best Repair Company, Inc. as his primary sponsor for his fourth career Truck Series start.
Butterbean made his Truck Series debut last season with Tricon Garage. He posted a career-best fourth-place finish in his debut race at North Wilkesboro Speedway. He then finished 19th and 20th at Nashville Superspeedway and Kansas Speedway, respectively.

"I'm very blessed for the opportunity to get back in the Craftsman Truck Series with Spire Motorsports and Chevrolet," the Virginia native said.
"Having Best Repair Company be a part of this means a lot to me because they took a chance on me when I was working at the Port of Virginia and not sure if I would get to continue racing. It is really neat to see how far we have come in the last couple of years and hopefully, this is the first of many more Craftsman Truck Series starts."
Butterbean, a former longshoreman at the Port of Virginia, has achieved success in multiple racing series. He won last season's CARS Tour Late Model Stock Car championship after finishing runner-up in 2023.
This season, he has delivered multiple wins in his first full ARCA Menards Series campaign. He captured the season-opening event at Daytona International Speedway and then won later in the season at Kansas Speedway. His most recent win took place at Michigan International Speedway as he won the pole and led 65 of the 100 laps.
Butterbean will try to maintain his championship lead on July 25 as he pulls double duty. He will compete at IRP in the ARCA Menards Series race and then he will return to the Truck Series with Spire Motorsports.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Brenden," said Spire Motorsports crew chief Allen Hart. "We have made some gains in the simulator over the past few weeks, so I feel confident as we head to IRP.
"He has been a blast to work with, so we will definitely carry that enthusiasm into the race."
