The No. 43 for Ford Fusion for Richard Petty Motorsports currently belongs to the 33-year-old Almirola. Wallace subbed for Almirola for four races this season, and RPM was so impressed it's been looking for a second sponsor so it can run both Wallace and Almirola.

NESN Fuel also raised the possibility that RPM may not be strongly wedded to continuing its relationship with Almirola.
