It's snowing in Atlanta, and in the time it takes to go 6 miles, you could watch a movie

A winter storm is blasting its way through the South, and that's not good news for Atlanta. Because when the snow comes, things come to a crawl.

Or even slower.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution posted a traffic sign that showed going six miles could take up to 71 minutes -- an hour an 11 minutes.

Now, a driver would be able to watch the 1931 version of Frankenstein (70 minutes). If the traffic slows just a bit more, they could get through The Jungle Book (78 minutes) or Toy Story (81 minutes).

And traffic is bad everywhere.

Atlanta is known for its difficulties in snow, so much so that Saturday Night Live once made fun of the city:

Be safe out there. And avoid the movies until you get home.
