NASCAR Cup Series teams take on Iowa Speedway for the first time this weekend while capping off a busy weekend.
Xfinity Series teams and ARCA Menards Series teams will also be in the Hawkeye State to compete on the .875-mile paved oval. Chase Briscoe won the last race at Iowa in 2019.
Iowa Speedway has hosted 17 ARCA races, 13 Truck races, and 20 Xfinity races. The track, which Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace helped design, is a new addition to the Cup schedule as part of a deal announced last October.
NASCAR teams will have extra time on track Friday due to Iowa being a new track. They will practice for 50 minutes instead of only 20.

Friday forecast: Mostly sunny skies with a high of 86 degrees and a 3% chance of rain.
Saturday forecast: Rain showers early with cloudy skies as the day progresses. A high of 81 degrees and a 15% chance of rain at the start of the Xfinity race.
Sunday forecast: Partly cloudy skies with the possibility of a stray thunderstorm. A high of 90 degrees and an 18% chance of rain at the start of the Cup race.
