One day, traffic was stopped on the 110 just north of downtown Los Angeles, and nobody knew why. Maybe the entire row of cars were distracted by their phones and not a single person honked to grab their attention. Maybe the server went down and the automatons froze in place. Maybe the police had a road block and told them to wait so they were just following the law and a photographer filmed the moment just after police had cleared the scene but just before the lanes reopened.
