The stretcher on which the jumper lays shoots them into the air at almost 125 miles per hour in a SINGLE SECOND which subjects their bodies to about 6 G's (three times more than our own astronauts feel launching from Cape Canaveral. The whole thing puts you over three hundred feet in the air, where you release your parachute and float back down to safety and clean underpants.
