It's safe to say that the team over at Honda UK definitely outdid themselves, after churning out a certified beast of a lawn mower that broke the Guinness World Record for "Fastest Acceleration 0-100 mph for a Lawn Mower." On May 6, 2019, at the Dekra Lausitzring near Dresden, Germany, the Mean Mower V2 -- outfitted with a motor from a Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP motorcycle -- reached 100 MPH in 6.29 seconds thanks to some incredible driving from racer and stunt driver Jess Hawkins.

Clearly, the Mean Mower packs some serious zip, but for some even more impressive context, check this out: the 2019 Acura NSX goes from 0-100 in seven seconds flat. Not only is this souped-up Honda machine mowing down top-of-the-line luxury vehicles, but, as part of the stipulations of the record-setting run, it had to still be able to cut grass. So, for all intents and purposes, it's still, you known, a lawn mower. Take a look at some of the specs it's working with, though, and you'll see just how deceiving appearances can be.

First off, the Mean Mower's engine churns out 189 horsepower and 85 pound-feet of torque. Weighing around 308 pounds, the mower also boasts a better power-to-weight ratio than the freakin' Bugatti Chiron. On top of that, it put up an average 0-60 time of 3.26 seconds and topped out at 151 MPH.

Unreal, right? Can you imagine actually cutting the grass with this thing? It'd be like Fast and Furious: Lawn Mower Drift. You'd be the biggest badass on the cul-de-sac. Neighbors would tremble at the mere mention of your name.

You know what, though? Forget lawns. The Mean Mower is more suited for crushing the hopes and dreams of competitors on the drag strip than clipping blades of grass in the suburbs.
