People in Houston, Texas take their rim game very, very, very seriously. Rim theft is a huge issue throughout the city and it causes tons of gun violence. To help curb this, the police have set up "bait" rims that they can monitor to see who takes them. Most criminals see these and know they're bad news. They even go so far as to leave signs behind warning other would be thieves not to take them. However, to see rims means that you probably aren't all that smart in the first place and many thieves STILL take them knowing they're tainted!
